Between September 14 and 15, 2023, the fourteenth edition of the Paleontology Symposium will take place at the Faculty of Geology and Geophysics of the University of Bucharest. The event is organized by the Romanian Society of Paleontology, together with the Research Institute of the University of Bucharest – ICUB, the National Research and Development Institute for Geology and Marine Geoecology – GeoEcoMar and the Department of Geology, Mineralogy and Paleontology of the University of Bucharest.
Researchers from the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University in Iași and the Petrol-Gaze University in Ploiești also participate in the symposium, as well as distinguished guests from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville (United States of America), Karl-Franzens University in Graz (Austria), Center National de la Recherche Scientifique and Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris (France).
The meeting will end with the General Assembly of the Romanian Society of Paleontology.
