On November 14, 2024, the International Workshop “Evolution of the Eurasian Megalakes within the Paleogene-Quaternary interval: Isolation and Connection in the Paratethys and Black Sea” will take place at the Casa Universitarilor, Bucharest. Researchers from the United States of America, Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova and Romania will participate in this Workshop. The presentations are focused on the paleogeographic evolution, paleoenvironmental and paleoclimatic changes that have occurred since the Paleogene to the Present, with results from the Paratethys and studies focused on the Black Sea Basin.
