The event is organized by the Romanian Society of Paleontology, together with the Research Institute of the University of Bucharest &#8211; ICUB, the National Research and Development Institute for Geology and Marine Geoecology &#8211; GeoEcoMar and the Department of Geology, Mineralogy and Paleontology of the University of Bucharest.<br \/>\nResearchers from the Babe\u0219-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, the &#8220;Alexandru Ioan Cuza&#8221; University in Ia\u0219i and the Petrol-Gaze University in Ploie\u0219ti also participate in the symposium, as well as distinguished guests from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville (United States of America), Karl-Franzens University in Graz (Austria), Center National de la Recherche Scientifique and Ecole Normale Sup\u00e9rieure in Paris (France).<br \/>\nThe meeting will end with the General Assembly of the Romanian Society of Paleontology.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/section>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Between September 14 and 15, 2023, the fourteenth edition of the Paleontology Symposium will take place at the Faculty of Geology and Geophysics of the University of Bucharest.
